Webinarians, the New Storytellers

Webinarian is a term used to describe presenters in webinars or web conferences. It’s not a term used to describe a librarian on the web although it sounds like it does. As this form of communication matures many seem to think the best webinars are those where stories are told and human qualities come through the speaker’s words. Boring old scripts fail to keep people interested. This is probably why the radio show, Prarie Home Companian is so successful.  Garrison Keillor considers himself a story teller and when we listen we find ourselves watching the story in our minds eye instead of our mind wandering away from the topic.
