Users who answer questions have the opportunity to earn Mahalo Dollars because the person who asks the question offers a tip.  One Mahalo dollar is currently worth $0.75 when paid out via PayPal.  Dubbed the human powered search, there is also a Twitter version called Mahalo Answers where users send questions to @answers.
