Doing Business is most useful for people who need foreign trade data, but this site also offers a global corporate taxation report which covers 178 countries, and some very lengthy country reports with detailed information for conducting business in a specific country, tax issues, and more. The source of information is primarily World Bank data and is current. A table of “Rankings” provides some interesting tabular data such as:”Which country is the easiest to do business with - Singapore- the worst- Democratic Republic of the Congo. The easiest country in which to start a business - Australia; the worst- Guinea-Bissau.

Know where to find old company annual reports? Sabrina Pacifici of LLRX explains a range of options.

The Library of Congress offers suggestions. University of Pennsylvania Libraries offers suggestions for finding older annual reports and their collection at the Lippincott Library includes a collection of historical annual reports. We won’t list all of the academic options for annual report collection, just highlight some that offer guidance. If you have a local university, by
all means check their business collections first.
